I love the pace at which people walk there; being a fast walker I'm always frustrated walking in some cities where people move at a snail's pace. Actually, there was nothing I didn't like about New York.

at the same time as i became in long island many years in the past, i presumed it became so exciting...till my pal and that i had to ask for instructions. For them, some blocks is really a mile, they discover out you're from Cali and get their butt cheeks all wadded up...that thoughts-set quite sucks! The cab drivers rigidity like bats out of hell - in a hurry to take the longest route. I did like staying on the Mark, long island, which became quite tremendous and had a buggy vacation into critical Park. except that, the human beings were only impolite. yet there are impolite human beings everywhere. they only look to thrive on it.

Like: the restaurants, museums & galleries & libraries. And the way it's almost impossible to get bored. And the constant entertainment provided by crazy people.

Dislike: how crowded it is without respite, how hot it is in summer, the subway, the way it can feel like it is closing in on you.

New York seems friendly during the day, and too big at night. You sort of get this euphoric feeling from the hustle and bustle --then things get complicated at night when you try to hail a cab, get to your favorite restaurant, and just walked down a dark street.

I love Chicago...DAy is great and night is easy but cold and windy.

Everything is expensive, the people are rude, the transit is slow and smelly and also getting expensive, the winters are horrible, the state tax is high and insurance is hiked, rent is hell to pay even in the slums which are everywhere, and the sectors are coded by race.
