I guess this should be amusing. Right? I'm not sure I can help you there. But to me, a hick town is one where no one owns a book. That's the ultimate hick town, whether it's inner city, west of 125th street, or on a dirt road in Out in the Middle of Nowhere, Arkansas.

I think of it as a back country town with people who aren't well educated. However, that said, I also find that in those kinds of communities, you find a lot of really good people. They're life smart. Usually very comfortable to be around and very willing to take you under their wing if you need help. Very good solid people. I have first hand experience since my fathers family is from a super small community in Oklahoma. I come from California. Back there, people on the street speak to you or wave at you as pass by. They always have a smile. Although I love it here, it's not quite the same environment. So although I appreciate education, I also appreciate good people who may not have the same background. I hope I stated that well and didn't offend anyone. Best Wishes to you.
