Yes, I'm a moderate and I don't think Obama is a moderate. He isn't Pelosi but he leans to the left on some issues. He is rated F by the NRA, supports affirmative action, and voted to protect the "right" to burn the flag. He isn't a moderate. I wouldn't have supported most of his decisions.

I don't know, he's getting pretty good at toeing the line. His voting record used to be liberal -- except that he voted for Condi and a host of other conservative BS when he took office. He voted for the mexico fence and hasn't voted no on giving bush money for Iraq.

It's hard to defend being a moderate anyway, being stuck in the middle of two parties that are exactly the same.

I can't keep anyone straight anymore when the Republicans are going crazy for Giuliani who is pro-choice and pro-gay rights.
and carries enough divorced Catholic baggage to sink a Dem in a dog catcher race.
Lets all just agree that if we don't like someone we call them a Liberal, communistic dog-kissing spot of drool whose father was Stalin and whose mother was Jane Fonda, and if hes a Republican hes a fair-haired near saint.
Lets not look farther or we might find feet....nay...torsos of clay.

that is the extreme left trick. say moderate moderate and then push socialism. Look how Pelosi did it with leaders in the congress. We are moderate, we are moderate and then wanting to appoint the most liberal to the leadership positions. IN football terms its a corner pattern. run up the middle then go left.

Guess it's a Dan Quayle sort of phenomenon .

Except Barack's I.Q. is about 40 points higher than Quayle's.

That link looked pretty moderate to me. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder. Give us a link or justification for why you don't think he is moderate.
