That is a good way to get suspended or expelled. Content filters within a school are there for a reason and if you are found to be breaking the terms of use for your school computers you can find yourself in many different situtaions including getting suspended or even loosing all computer access at school period. It is not worth it. Don't forget, they can essentially track EVERYTHING you do on the computer at school as it goes through there network. Best bet is if you really want to play games that bad bring them in on media (CD/floppy/USB Drive).

This isn't an answer, as I don't have one, but yeah school is for learning not for surfing. But on the other hand if I've got a free lesson or my teacher is absent, then I wanna go surf the net just to free my mind from work, so you lot don't hound this girl just cos she wants to surf some sites (unless they're really dodgy of course ;-) ]
School isn't just for learning straight from a book, it's about feeling relaxed enough to do work...

You don't, you study at school Not myspace, not surf to restricted sites, they are blocked for a reason. Myspace and other stuff on your own time. At the very least pick up a book and find it out for yourself its not that hard.
But I must warn you.You will face expulsion if caught. I know, I had to go in front of the school board to be reinstated. And you know what it was over? so I could play my Internet based flash games and read my forums on the school computers. Its not worth it. Trust me

These sites are blocked for a reason. You should not be surfing the Internet, reading and sending Email, Chatting, Blogging while at school.
Do this on your own time at home, after you have finished your homework.
Stop wasting my hard earned tax dollars and get back to studying!

If u can go to 'Tools', then click 'Internet Options', click 'Security', click 'Restricted Sites', click 'Sites', select the site from the pull down menu, click 'Remove', that site will be unprotected/unrestricted for ur computer. Same way u can protect/restrict a New Site by typing the site name and clicking 'Add'.

I know that in my disrtict, you can use a link on the blocked page notice to ask the blue coat (blocking) to be removed. I have not done that though because non of the content I want to see pertains to my professional duties. There has got to be someone though that knows how to disable the blocking feature.

Yes, the administrator at your school knows. Go ask them to unblock it. Ask them if they can make a class next year called Myspace 101?
