If you are speaking about tribal women then their husbands have more than one wife and they are very happy still because they have more important things to do than mop about how he is with another woman. Honesty works. He spends time with her and all the other women. Not to go without mentioning that the first wife is always the most important. So she has more of a say than all the others.
Modern day, it is basically the same as any other relationship. You have your abuser, your cheater you committed man etc.
