I know this is gross but...Yesterday when I went to the bathroom....I noticed that there was like a tiny clump maybe the size of a walnut lol in the toilet. It was white but it was chunky. Then just now when I went I noticed the same thing but a little bit more. There is never any color to it. Is this my plug or just extra discharge? when I wiped I had discharge in the paper and some in the toilet but this was actual clumps? Sorry I know TMI. I'm just curious and there is no other was to describe it.

I think it was your plug, since it sounds so similar to my experience. Mine was about the size of a cotton ball. It was white and looked like a flaky cotton ball, with a little spot of blood on one side of it.

In the weeks before I saw the big clump, I'd seen little flakes when I went to the toilet but just dismissed it as discharge. Once I saw the plug-thing, I realized the flakes had been coming off of it.

Tell your doctor as soon as you can! When I'd lost my plug, I'd dilated about 2cm without realizing it. I had my baby 48hours later :) Best of luck to you both!

Could be your plug or a yeast infection. When my plug came out with #1 it was green in color like mucus. I would call/see your OB asap!

IT DOES NOT SOUND LIKE YOUR PLUG BUT IT COULD BE I WOULD CALL YOUR OB AND ASK. NORMALLY THERE IS SOME BLOOD TINGED COLOR TO IT AND IT IS A PRETTY BIG CLUMP. BUT I CONTINUED TO LOSE MUCUS WHEN I WAS IN LABOR BEFORE THE PAIN STARTED SO CALL YOUR DOCTOR SINCE YOU ARE CONTINUING TO LOSE IT.

Yes it could be your mucus plug. This must be your first baby. Call your doctor and explain to him what's going on and see what he wants you to do.
