Well...let's hope you never have to find out..because that would be gross, but if you do happen to come across this...here are some ways you can tell.
1. A string is hanging from her vagina..most obvious.
2. She walks like she has something stuck up her..
3. Maybe you could ask if she's wearing a tampon....other than that you can't really tell.

A string hangs from the tampon so she can pull it out when she changes tampons.
U cant really tell if she is wearing one or not with her clothes on.

You don't--not even if you see her naked and she doesn't want you to know. It is possible to stick the string up inside where it can still be grabbed to pull the tampon out but isn't visible from the outside. This is what many women in nudist colonies do.
So.... the only REAL way to know, if you don't just ask, is to stick your finger in her vagina and feel around. And most girls probably won't let you do that.

well, aside from her blurting out that she is wearing a tampon or parading around naked so that you could see the string hanging out, I am afraid that the only way you will know for sure is to ask.

there is a string attatched to tampons that allow us to pull them back out... there would be a string. I doubt highly that a girl wouldnt TELL you she had one in if it got to the point where you could SEE it...

You don't know unless she is naked. Then there is a white string hanging out of her coochie. Other than that...no way of knowing.
