I don't rebel against the norms of society, but the older I get, the more I want to. I felt like such a spectacle when I got married - I kept questioning why I was going through with this expensive tradition. Also, I hate having to be polite or professional, like at work when there is one person who is a total jerk - why doesn't anybody say anything? We all talk behind the person's back, why is it rude to get in the face of somebody who is making everyone else's life unbearable? I'm sure I could think of more, but those are the most prominent to me.

There are some norms of society that i guess i rebel against but not for the sake of being a rebel. I would describe myself as a skeptic so there is plenty of common ideas that I am against (i.e. religion). In general i think being a "non-conformist" is just conforming to another co-culture. Some people like to rebel to stand out and get the attention, I think its sad that they feel it is necesary.

Nah. When you rebel against the norm, it's so following a different type of norm. I just do what I like without thinking about whether my actions are for or against something. Basically I follow my heart, mind and conscience.

Depends on if I like them or not. Rebeling against everything would have me conforming to a different norm. Not much point in that.

All the time.. My favorite saying is "I've seen normal and I want no parts of it"

I think normality is a myth since we are all unique. As long as you do not hurt yourself or others, you should not have to follow the so called "norm" of society.

We are ALL dysfunctional on some level.

it may look a stupid common sense to me. someone in his attempt to insurrection will stress himself to proportion his physique (do sexual issues) with people who he's never fascinated in and yet on an identical time as doing all that he's likewise denying him self the pleasures of being with the very people who he's fascinated in. I see him as being the only person who isn't winning in this affiliation. Why could someone enter into an affiliation the place he and he by myself comes off 2nd suitable.

Depends on what you consider rebellion in all honesty. Most of today's teens are considered rebelious in the eyes and against the norms of todays society. Clothes being a major form of rebellion... Holes in the clothes, Hair dyed and cut in various forms. Did you know Tattoos and Piercings even in today's society are still considered deviant acts and anyone who has them are considered deviant by some form of todays standard?

Honestly it just depends on how you look at it...

Hope I helped

Yes, by doing my own thing. I've never been a slave to what is termed normal or safe. I wear clothes that are an expression of who I am rather than what fashionistas say is in, and the people I associate with don't conform to little societal slots either. Life is diversified and good. I'm of mixed heritage and I freely associate with everyone, not sticking to one ethnic grouping.

I've never intentionally rebelled because that's just not my style. However, I don't comform to things I disagree with or dislike just to be like others. I'm comfortable in my own skin and live my life the way I feel appropriate.

The opinions I hold and interests I have are not considered popular among peers in my age group, but that's never bothered me in the least. I don't do something because our media tells us everyone else is doing it. If "everyone else" truly is doing it, then it really is the blind leading the blind.

I keep to myself. They don't bother me - I don't bother them. :)

Hell yeah I do.

I always question authority figures when they tell me I can't do something.
Why?
Why is everything so wrong.
I also question logic a whole bunch. Humanity does not know everything.

And the d^mn judges. Why should they be able to judge me, when they are capable of just the same amount of sin. If they hadn't already.
