Why do men cheat? Serious answers only!!?

I don't understand why, if a man is in a great relationship with a partner, and their sex life is great and regular, then why do they still cheat at the first chance? Their partner could be totally hot, young, rich etc... but they still cheat on them the first chance they might not get caught. Please explain why this happens. Do they just see the "new" person as a piece of meat? Do they honostly not see how this would crush their partner? Please help!!

It's a fact that all men are genetically programmed to spread their seed to as many females as possible. Society dictates that marriage or relationships are between 1 man and 1 woman. So every man has to supress the natural urge to have intercourse with other females, when in a relationship. Some men can supress the urges, some cannot and "cheat".

I think men cheat because they feel they can. Sometimes when they have it all good they need reassurance just to know if they can be with one women for the rest of their lives.

Then there are the ones who cheat because they are lacking something in their relationship and since they dont communicate they take easy way out by cheating.

You are not describing the normal cheat scenario.

What you describe is an example of a man that would cheat no matter what because they are simply wired this way. The same way a theif that does not really need the money would.

What is far more common in the case of men is they are not being satisfied by their spouse. Maybe she wont give him BJs anymore or not very often, or sex is something he has to battle for and he just threw in the towel.

These things do not make it right but do make it far more likely to happen. Women very foolishly think this is not a big issue but for many men it is.

Truly good men don't cheat. It may be possibible that you or the women being cheated on are picking men with a serious lack of character. If you have never and would never cheat then make it a mission to find someone with as much character as yourself. This may sound crazy but, I have been cheated on twice. Both times it was by drop dead sexy girlfriends. While I think my wife is very attractive, she is not what I would describe as "drop dead sexy". She has never and I don't believe she would evr cheat on me. I wish you the best in the future. My best advise would be that you place more value on what is inside that outward appearances.

it sux and its sort of hard to answer this b/c everyone cheats for a different reason, or at least MAKES UP a different reason!i personally dont agree with cheating ...i hate it ,,i feel that if you are in a monogamus relationship why cheat.,..if you are tempted by someone else and you feel that you may go out of the relationship than cut it off before you do it b/c you are only going to cruch your partner....now a days people are out there all for themselves! and if you have opened your eyes lately you will see that our society is totally centered around sex and sexuality...half naked women in adds for ; cars, gum, soda, cotton t-shirts, perfume, they are on billboards everywhere ...and to be honest the clothes women wear now are based on the "less is more" aspect! men are very visual people it is proven medically, and it doesnt help when a chic walks by with her **** hanging out and her bottom of her *** hanging out fo rall to see....many women are becoming more aggressive today also, your man may not even have to approach her b.c they are drinkin and hanging all over them basically inviting them in her pants! it sux,,,but there is no real answer fo rwhy do they cheat,,,you may think they are satisfied sexually,,,but then they need more, or different sex....you may think they are concerned with money but they dont need you for that!, you may say you know you are hot enough...but to be hoinest no matter how hot we are there is always someone else they will see someday that they find just as appealing and maybe even more appealing..some just get bored after the same thing over and over again...they wont ever say that but they do feel it!.....love and relationships are the hardest thing to deal with in life,,,but it is all about trust...being able to trust your partner ,,,,not any chic that comes along because they want attenttionn and most will do whatever it takes to get it! just rememebr once a cheater always a cheater.....some men and women are just not relationship type of people...so they are better offf being single and able to mingle this way they save someone's heart break! just remeber that whatever heppened and who ever did it are not worth it for you to try and fix what was done...there are too many fishi in the sea....good luck!!!!!!! : )~

People cheat because the relationship isn't perfect. Unknown to the other person, they are unhappy. You only think they are happy. Men and women want different things. Women want a man so she can have children & a mate. Men want sex. After she's reached her goal of having children, she becomes less interested in sex. Men remain interested in sex 24/7/365 days. If he isn't getting it at home, he moves on. Women cheat because she thinks her spouse isn't a good long term match.

The same reason why females cheat. The main reason is that the person who is cheating is weak minded and when someone else shows them attention they go for it. These people are selfish in nature and will never change. They usually have low self estemes and do not think highly of themselves.

Males typically have a greater sex drive at a younger age. This is due to nature. Back in the cave man days. Males were the hunters and warriors and were at more of a risk of getting killed at an earlier age. So nature took over and gave us a higher sex drive at a younger age, so we could insure our population and species could survive. You'll notice the female's sex drive picks up as they get older. It's natures way of saying, your biological clock is ticking and you will not be able to bare children as you get older, so your sex drive will increase.

So cheating is partially due to our higher sex drive and lack of sex from our partner. The males that decide to cheat, do not understand that there is a reason for the lack of sex from our partners, they think that the partner just is no longer interested in them. Then when they find someone that they are attracted to showing interests in them, they go for it.

This happens in females as well. The real question should be... what can I do to stop this from happening in my relationship. The only thing you can do is communicate more. It takes courage to risk opening up to your partner, because you are putting it all out there and making yourself volnerable to him/her. They can use your feelings against you, or they can choose to use your feelings to get to know you better and have a healthier relationship by giving you what you need in order to get what they need. That's me! Not just me, there are other GOOD MEN in the world. My problem is finding the GOOD WOMEN, who will share thier feelings and needs and understand that we are all human, we're going to do things or say things sometimes that cause arguments. How we deal with the situations in life, determines how strong our relationship is. A good healthy relationship will be one free of adultry as a result of understanding each other's needs and loving each other enough to give what each of them need.

But everyone here has thier own opinion about why people cheat. With me, it's because they are not strong enough to love themselves enough to want to have a healthy relationship with one person. It makes me feel good about myself to know that the woman I love, loves me back the same amount! That right there, can only be achieved by good communication.

I don't think many men that cheat care if it'll crush their partner. They think with their penis and not with their brain. Yes I do believe that it is a conquest type of thing.
