some states have regulations that in truth state the favor arises end, in truth earlier the bus if the bus is headed your way, and some feet on the decrease back of the bus, if you're following it. different states may have set distances, so i'd be sure your state motor vehicle branch Drivers handbook, and word what it recommends. i imagine of that once you've been in the front of the bus, say a minimum of ten feet, you'll favor to be ok, thinking that you've been stopped, yet attempt to maintain slightly extra distance finally. The bus driving rigidity may have a chain distance for a vechicle battling, yet at the same time as she parks the bus on the brink of the intersection and a vehicle turns, it could be puzzling to maintain that distance. i'd recommend a minimum of two vehicle lengths from the bus, from both route, if available. (20 to 30 feet, minimum). I recognized at some states regulations, and some do now no longer record a distance, so look into your state.

that depends on what state you live in, not county. As there are many orange counties, I couldn't tell you.
In NC though, it's 5 pts if you are operating a normal Motor vehicle, and 8 points if you are operating a commercial motor vehicle.
According to the NC driver's handbook:
If you are convicted of certain motor vehicle
violations in North Carolina, driver license
points are placed against your driving record. If
you accumulate seven points, you may be
assigned to a Driver Improvement Clinic. The
clinic fee is $50. Upon satisfactory completion of
the clinic, three points are deducted from your
driving record. If you accumulate as many as
twelve points within a three-year period, your
license may be suspended. The accumulation of
eight points within three years following the
reinstatement of your license can result in a second
suspension.

I am not certain for that offense. I do not think that there are any citation that are less than $100.00 You should call the Tel No on your citation and they will give you the details you need, if you ask. You will learn from this experience to be much more careful when driving. Happy Holydays.

I live in North Carolina and over here it is 3 or 4 points on your driving record, but that's not that big a deal. Wait until you see how much your insurance goes up. Good luck.
