If windows wasn't completely reinstalled, the driver files should still be on the drive. Just go to Printers in the control pannel and choose to install printer. Select to automatically install the printer, and presto it should be usable. However, if windows was completly reinstalled or restored to a point before you originally installed the printer. Please refer to the guy above me that reccomended you going to HP's website and downloading it.

There will be some on HP downloads, you may be asked for the liecence number, not saying that you have , but some people steal printers from homes then do not have the disc to load, hope you succed.

Try going to the website for the printer brand and see if they have it there. Most now have the drivers and software available for download from the site

go to the hp website, type it into a search engine. then look for your type printer on their website,you can download the software straight from them for free.

go to theweb site of the printer manufacturer and download the driver for that one plug your printer in when the box comes up for the driver re direct it to where you downloaded it to and bobs your uncle

Download the drivers from HP's site,

If that doesn't work, (it should), go to
www.windowsupdate.com
and let windows search for the driver on its own.
