Pregnant women are more prone to UTI's. Maybe have it checked out?

You should go to the doctor you may have urinary track infection which would cause the pain! I got a lot of those when I was preg and what I did is I drank Cranberry juice at least a glass of it everyday sometimes twice and that will take care of too safely without the use of pills but if the pain continues and that doens't seem to help then go to the doctor and get some antibiotics (my sp sucks) cuz you being healthy is the most important! Good luck and congrats.

it can be two things.

The first is probably the most likely. When your uterus grows, it actually sits right on your bladder, and the weight of it against it is irritating to it. When you empty your bladder that irritation and weight and really obvious. I had that early on is pregnancy too. t didnt hurt like a UTI, it was almost like something was pushing my bladder too hard too fast while it was emptying. Its normal.

If its not that, it could be a UTI or bladder infection. Those are common with pregnancy, and your doctor looks for them with every urine sample they collect at each appointment. If you think it might be a uti, go ahead and call and get checked. :)

But from what you discribe it sounds like the first.

Some pregnant women will experience that sharp pain down there while doing many things, why I really don't know, you should ask your doc. I know I have experienced it.
But for it to happen a specific point every time is a little strange, I would ask your doc to check for sometype of bladder issue (maybe an infection or something else).

Sounds like you could have a urinary tract infection (uti). You may want to get that checked out. If it goes untreated it could bring up some other issues in your pregancy. CRANBERRY JUICE... will be your best friend throughout your pregnancy to keep you free of that stuff. BTW, uti's are common in pregnancy. It's a hormonal thing for the most part.

I have experienced like a pinch feeling while urinating when pregnant too. However it should not hurt so bad to the point that you are almost unable to finish. It sounds like there may be a vaginal infection, or a STD at hand. You should check with your health care provider immediately, request a blood test.

Good Luck.

You definatly need to see your doctor, it could very well be a urinary tract infection! Until you get to the doctor drink as much Cranberry juice as you can tolerate. A good relief is AZO. Its sold over the counter. Make sure to ask the pharmacist since your pregnant. It is NOT a cure. You need meds if it is UTI. Be aware AZO makes your pee red. strange, but it does.

If it's a burning sensation along with the abdomen pain than it's a urinary tract infection. You should go have it examined by your doctor asap! My sister had that and it somehow carried through to her kidney and she was put to bed rest for awhile.

I had to have stints put in when I was pregnant with my first. I had major UTI problems, just about lost my daughter, And make sure if you have sexual relations, make sure you go to the bathroom right after it will relieve some of the potential problems. That is what my urologist told me to do. Good luck!! I went on to have 4 more kids.....no problems with them.. JUST DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER.
