Ive always scoffed at those uniformed lemmings dressed in green aka JROTC kids its sad really how they allow this of all things in school!! How is that possibly part of a public curriculum teaching kids from middle school and brainwashing them that joining the army is fighting terrorism , then lying to them about gettting a college degree when less then 10% actually make it out with one at all . I my self am an anti-war activist , war is so like centuries ago but really it is unnnessary as a whole . However regardless of that ascpect i find the army recruiters invasion of my school to be wrong , telling kids who didnt quite make the grade that the Army and its facility is the only way to make something honerable of themselves . How is kiling innocent people honerable ? It seems that whoever disaggres with the U.S is painted to be against us and therefor terrorist when infact its plain to see why so many other nations hate us. How is this in anyway right?

Good deal. Just keep taking and not giving anything back. Paints a real clear picture of you. The generation of entitlement. Whoever coined that term must have been looking at you. Did you eat the last cookie in the box every time too?Military service is as much a part of life as whatever garbage that is being taught today in schools. I know in Florida, they teach the FCAT. How much is that going to help you later in life? If the crazies in the radical Islamic movement have their way, then we will see if you still think that war is like sooo centuries ago and unnecessary.
How do you think you got the freedoms you have. Do you think some magic fairy waved her wand and POOF! You're free!! Honorable people, loyal people, patriotic people fought in wars and died so you could vent here today. And you feel you owe nothing for this? You cannot be serious. Some day in the future, when you are out in the world on your own, I hope you remember what you wrote here today. When you are busting your butt, paying your own way and not insulated as you are now, you may have the revelation that you were wrong, that you do owe a debt to the overall health of the Republic. Until then, enjoy your fun in school because you are in for a shock kiddo.

And who ever disagrees with you is a "lemming," "sad," "brainwash[ed]," uneducated, and dishonorable. You seem like the real fascist to me, you wont even let people with a different opinion then you have the opportunity to pursue their interests, you would take it away from them because YOU decided their too stupid to make up their own minds. It's so typical for fascists like you to think that your so intelligent that when others disagree it cant possibly be that they have different desires then you or God forbid see things differently, no, they have to be morons or brainwashed.

Without discussing the current controversy in Iraq I think you are looking at this from only one side.
I don't believe those recruiters should be considered as invading your school but as being there to offer the opportunity to those who are interested in joining the military. While you are obviously anti-war there are many who believe that by joining the military they are supporting this country and allowing the rest of us non-military citizens to enjoy the freedoms they risk their lives for.
The recruiters are not lying about getting a college degree, as I know several people that have joined the military and received their college money with no problems. I am not saying there have not been people that did not recieve their college education, but I would certainly want to have all the facts before accusing those recruiters of lying.
Without those "uniformed lemmings" that voluntarily support this country we would be overrun with other countries (and we're not talking the nice ones we get along with either) who would most likely run this country with an iron fist and take away most of the freedoms you have. If you think you have it rough, try to imagine this country being ruled the same as those places where you can be arrested for being unfaithful to your husband, even though you were raped.
Lastly I would point out that war is not "like centuries ago", as less than a century ago a couple of little things happened called World War I & II. Had we lost World War II, a really "nice" man by the name of Hitler would have killed millions of people based only on their religion or the color of their skin. And since you are obviously not paying attention in your history classes I'll add that we did not start either of those wars.
