I think it just depends on what you are looking for.
I mean if you just want to search something quickly just go to Google. If you can't find anything other than checking mail then Yahoo has lots of things to look at when you just open the page- Local and world news headlines, radio, games etc.You don't need to search for them.

I prefer yahoo as I have used it for longer and am more keen at where everything is.
I do use google more though if I feel I need to refine a search or look deeper into a subject...but it just isn't my cup of tea.

I like Yahoo the best. Google works well on my blackberry though because of the lack of graphics and words on the page.

I always just use both. I use Yahoo first, then if I don't find what I am looking for I will use google. (but I usually find it on yahoo)
