it's a toss up. Because of Drew Brees's surgery and the pessimism surrounding it, I think he can be considered a sleeper. People really didn't expect much especially since he was now playing for the saints. Remember, the Saints got beaten like they stole something last year. Those 5 games with over 300 yards say something.

However, I would still give it to Romo. Brees is a proven QB. We saw that with the Chargers last year. I think how Romo came in (unproven) and revitalized the Cowboys to the extent they are considering themselves serious Super Bowl contenders makes Romo the ultimate sleeper of the 2006 season...

Can't forget about Colston the wide-out for New Orleans who was the third to last player taken in the draft and is up for rookie-of-the-year honors.

id have to agree. he's a really good player and the only q.b. out of the past nine since aikman that has been good for dallas. he's gonna break out and be an excellent player.
