The Tick!!!

Tough question. I mean, the obvious answer would be Superman. What with all his abilities, but then he's easily defeated by kryptonite. Which every one of his villians seems to have. And then he only survives with the help of someone else.

Spiderman has no weaknesses, except his emotions. But he's still mortal. He gets hurt and can die somewhat simply.

Batman would be a contender, I think. However, if we count them as one, then the Fantastic Four would have to be challengers. Seperately they're not so great, but combined, well, the name says it all.

Of course, I only mention these superheroes from my own interpretations. I take the Batman to be from Begins, and not the earlier films or TV series. The same with Spiderman. I can't admit to having enough knowledge of each to come to a conclusion.

In terms of raw power, either the Silver Surfer or Superman. Strength-wise, The Hulk is your man, followed closely by The Thing. Thor is pretty high up there, being a God of Thunder and all. Green Lanter and Flash are pretty high up too, as well as Wonder Woman. I'm more of a marvel guy, however.

My personal favorite at the moment though is Deadpool. Quicker healing factor than Wolverine, and a knowledge of weapons, plus the knowledge that he is, in fact, a comic book character, and he references this very readily. I'm a fan of breaking the fourth wall.

I honestly have to say Superman. He's the standard by which all other heroes are judged. In DC comics, everyone listens when the Batman speaks, and they all look to Wonder Woman for compassion--but every last hero in that universe looks to Superman for inspiration.

He is THE superhero.

If you're talking about comics I prefer Wolverine, or Spiderman. But has anyone though about the manga superheroes?

it has to be the one the only ..... "is it a bird (no its a guy) is it a plain (i told you it is a guy) no it SUPER-MAN" the last krypton alive, he can kick every ones but all he has to do is throw them in to outer space (so why dos he not do that to Lex Luther then) oh yer he dos not believe in capital punishment. oh and don't superhero's have to have super powers if so that rules out Bat-Man then.
