Waxing hurts because you are putting hot wax on your skin, ripping the hairs out at the root, and usually the top layer of skin comes off with it. If not done properly, it's extremely painful. If done properly, it's a mild sting that quickly fades.

Ok, let's try this. It should be fun. For you... he he he. Take some tweezers, pick a single hair on your face (eyebrows) or legs or what girls call bikini line- it depends on which area you're more curious about - and take it out using the tweezers. Does it hurt? Honestly, i can bet it brought tears to your eyes.
Now, after you've done that, imagine that same thing being done at once to many many hairs in the same areas (well, maybe not eyebrows). How do you think it will feel??
That's what girls have to go through. So be happy you're a guy.
And have fun trying that... :D

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

It does hurt. Try plucking one hair out, then multiply that pain by a thousand....then the area is sore for a while.

Why don't you just try it and see for yourself. That's the only way to find out the answer to your question.
