The people who are saying not likely and no are just plain wrong. HCG levels (hormone detected in pregnancy tests) are noticable and be confirmed by blood tests as early as 6 days after fertilization.
Edit-the 14 day number someone is giving, is to rule out people that are simply late for their period. as 14 days is ussualy halfway between the average menstrual cycle. And blood tests arn't just for people that are having problems, they are simply more expensive, therefore done less. But are available upon request.

You should ask your doctor why he said no. I am no doctor but I imagine he told you this because you are dilated already. I think there is greater risk for infection if you do. But again not a doctor so...yeah. ADD to the tea and gin girl, 36 weeks is considered full term. So technically she can go into labor safely any time after 36 weeks.

It's possible but probably unlikely. They can try a blood test to see but you just need to make sure you inform your doc of this. Usually it takes till around your next period time about a full 14 days after concieving.

Yes, they do a blood test. In the test it will show your protein levels, and that's how they determine if you're pregnant or not. I'm not sure if they'll do a blood test, unless they think something is wrong, or unless you've been having problems conceiving.

-Yes, a doctor can tell if your 3 weeks pregnant plus a buy at home pregnancy test can too! I know, my sister-in-law found out when she was 2 weeks pregnant. Go to a drug store or grocery store adn buy one. Then take it.. if oyu don't believe that, go to a doctor.

Actually there are some pregnancy tests on the market that can so I am pretty sure that your doctor could determine. I hope you get the answer you want.

Not by looking, but definitely with a blood test for pregnancy she could tell this soon.

They might be able to tell with blood test or internal ultra sound, it depends if you are making enough pregnancy hormone for the blood test.
