YES, if you already have your package, and $500 is your spending money, you will have plenty to eat, buy some crap souvenirs for the family (shot glasses, magnets, t-shirts) you can even see a show or two. Drop a couple quarters in a slot as a waitress walks by and voila! Free drink for you my friend, as long as you keep the gambling to a minimum, there is plenty to see and do with your 500 big ones. You should have enough to play the slots at the airport on your departure. I wish I could go, have fun.

I went to Vegas over Thanksgiving weekend. I stayed in Primm just 30 minutes outside of Vegas for $59 a night Vegas even the Super 8 was I think $118. So yeah you can go to Vegas on $500 but if you want to ride all the rides see all the sites that cost something you will be cutting it close on $500. But for $500 you could still have a great time. Depending on what you like to eat. I recommend the Harley Davidson Restaurant. Very good food and pretty cheap.

If you don't already have a room reserved, get on line and find a deal for three nights in Vegas. A friend and I went for three days and paid only $59 a night at a 4 star hotel in downtown Vegas (The Golden Nugget). If you can get a deal on a room, $500 will be plenty to enjoy Vegas for three days. I took $250 to gamble and eat with, and I came home with money. It is do-able.

Las Vegas is probably the most fascinating and enjoyable town in the world and with hotelbye you may find out more. Nowhere otherwise on earth you may find a city that's all of the journey amenities that merely a total resort location could offer: luxurious casino hotels, great food, wonderful live entertainment and state-of-the artwork convention and business display facilities. Las Vegas happens to be a spectacular town and everything that you would assume from the world-class area, and more, is below for your vacation pleasure. One of many areas you must visit in Las Vegas may be the Fremont Street, a pedestrian area with all kinds of distinctive sites.

This amount is doable if 1) your reservations are paid for; 2) you only eat at $7.99 buffets; 3) you don't gamble; and 4) you don't drink. You can spend up to $50 a day in cab fare alone if you go lots of places. Most Las Vegas shows will cost you $75 and up. I would think about adding another $500.00 to that budget or cutting my trip down to 2 nights.

Not if you plan on eating. For 3 days, you need at least $120 put to the side for food, depending on where and what kind of food you plan on eating. As far as the other $380, do you really think that is enough for gambling, drinks, shopping, transportation, and miscellaneous fun? You also don't want to spend everything that you have. You always want to have at least $50-$100 tucked away in case of emergency. What you don't want to do is have to use your ATM card in the casino. The fees are outrageous! What I usually do is use a credit card for all of our food purchases and shopping. That way I am able to stretch my cash for the casino, tipping, and transportation.
Have fun!

that depends on what you want to do, if your plane tickets and hotel are already paid for and the 500 is for food and gambling than its should be enough unless you plan on gambling the whole time than probably not. But if you just want to gamble a little bit and hit up the clubs later than you should be good. when you gamble is free drinks

I assume you mean that the flight and hotel are already paid for. If you don't have a plane ticket already, then I can't help you. But, you'll be able to get a decent room on or near the strip for $90 including the 9% tax. It may be cheaper to stay downtown (Golden Nugget seems to be a really inexpensive favorite). You're going at a really good time since you don't have much money...I think Stratosphere has some really good deals for next week...check out these for good room rates:

http://www.fatwallet.com/t/63/658200/
http://www.mylasvegasrooms.com/specialoffers.cfm
Also remember to check the hotels' own websites. The rates on there could be the cheapest of all!
So if you spend $270 on your hotel, that leaves you with $230. Take out $75 for food and $15 for transportation. That leaves you with $140, or $46 a day to spend on gambling, drinking, and shows.
If you've already got the hotel, just set aside the money for food and transportation, which leaves you with $410, or $102 per day (much better). You only have to tip $1 per drink (please don't be a stiff), so set aside your money for that, figure out how much you want to gamble away, and spend the rest of inexpensive shows (or, just see free ones).
Here are some links to help you:

http://www.tripadvisor.com/ (see reviews and the Vegas forum for all kinds of invaluable, money saving info)
There are lots of inexpensive places to eat, drink, and gamble --(Orleans, for one). And there are tons of free or inexpensive shows; - check out my page actually; I have a blog that might give you some ideas.

I guess it would depend on whether or not that $500 included your room or not. If it didn't then I would venture to say no. If your room is covered than you will be totally fine. You can score free drinks and close to free buffets by joining players clubs.

No way. Not if you want to have any fun. Think about all the things to pay for. You want an awesome hotel, dining, you might want to see some shows or go to the casinos, maybe go shopping. I'd bring a little more if I were you
