conservatives embrace the ideals expressed in the Pledge of Allegiance, including "justice for all". That means the same laws are supposed to apply to everyone, whether it's a wealthy celebrity like Rush or a faceless inner-city man mired in poverty. In fact, Rush himself has advocated jail time for athletes and Hollywood celebrities who use drugs.

So if conservatives still believe that drug users should be sent to prison, shouldn't that mean that Rush should be imprisoned too?

Besides being a draftdodger and drug addict, Limpblah is a serial husband. He can't satisfy a woman, despite gobbling Viagra like jelly beans. But he would claim it's a way to cure his other drug habit, so the judges he bribes will have an excuse to slap his wrists for the other addiction.

I think there is a difference between a drug user and a drug pusher. I user needs help, not jail. A pusher needs to never see the light of day again.

I believe that Rush could do more as an example than to spend time in jail.

Oh grow up, there is dirt on both sides of the aisle and you know it. Democrats, Republicans, both parties have their criminals. You singled Rush out because you are liberal and put your blinders on to all the liberals who have broken the law and gotten away with it.
