Ok is it just me but is Brain Gumbell the worst sports announcer??
Last week during the Raven-Cinn game they stop calling the game for a few minutes it is horrible....

I always hated Collinsworth. He is such an annoying blow hard. Unfortunately, Gumball is even worse and painful to listen to. I feel like any moment they are going to cut to footage of starving pigmys in New Guinea or send it over to Willard at the weather desk and show pictures of 100 year old ladies. Of course they would be more excited about the football game than Bryant.
I tried to find somewhere on NFL Network website to complain, but they must have shut that link off. We can only hope he will be gone next year.

I agree with you. Bryant Gumbell sounds like the woman announcer on ESPN. He has a really girly voice for a sports announcer and Chris Collinsworth always sounds like he has something in his throat. I try to get my dad to mute the TV so he and I can call the game, but he wont do it even though he knows we'd be better.

He's a pompous a@s anyway so yes he should go...
The NFL needs to understand that people can get just as turned off by the announcers as they can with a terrible team to watch on the tube. I know, I'm a Lions fan and they are pathetic! but at least the commentators have been decent to listen to while the Lions are making fools of themselves!!!

that is continuously nice to get more advantageous football, yet they have somewhat been doing the Thursday nighttime video games for the severe 2 years. After Thanksgiving they commence playin Thursday and Saturday video games.

"Gumball" is probably the worst announcer when it comes to football. He is definitely out of his element and the NFL Network tried to go with a big name and that was the best they could do. I'm sure there is someone else out there who has never sat in the booth before and could the job 110% better!

Collinsworth can only carry the broadcast so far. BG is really taking a lot of heat. Mainly because of his lack of football knowledge and "put you to sleep" voice. He's lucky that a lot of people don't have the NFL network or he'd be getting it even worse.

I like it when they just shut up and let us watch the game. Most of the time I turn the sound down and listen to Pink Floyd when I watch.

I agree with you - they need to get the college game day guys out there or something. I had to turn the game off because I couldn't listen to him anymore

Yeah! At first I didn't know who it was. And I'm thinking "who is this nerd? What a loser!" and it turned out to be him. Luckily like the other guy once my friends showed up we couldn't hear him anyways. But yeah I agree he needs to go.
