it was pinky red and really light it only lasted 3 days. usually my period is heavy and dark red. i am on antibiotics called augmentin. i am worried i am pregnant or could it be the antibiotics that made my period like this?

Did you use a backup method while on the antibiotics? Antibiotics can mess w/ your birth control and lessen the effect. I would wait a week and test to make sure.

Also call your gyno (and possibly the pharmacy) to make sure.

I am in the same scenario as you. I was on a antiobiotic during my last cycle. My period was supposed to start on Tuesday, and I am have been spotting only for three days. I took a test this morning, but it was negative. I really hope the antibiotic didn't mess with my pill. I hope it is just messing with my cycle. And, I am stressing too, so that might be a cause. It could be either. You should always use a backup method when taking antibiotics. I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. To feel at ease take a home test. Hope you feel better!

Well just a word of warning, taking antibotics while on birth control deactivates the birth control. You could be prego. if i were you i would be extra careful during sex. not only that, the antiboitics also mess with your period. so be careful, like strap twice with the man and use like that foam stuff.
