this may seem kinda strange, and a little gross maybe. But last night when we had sex, I became um... Much more wet than normal. Is it crazy of me to be concerned about the baby? It is very hard for me to ask this. Could it have been amniotic fluid? I am 4 months pregnant today. I havent had any pain or anything. Please Im not trying to be funny here. Any opinions?

No, its perfectly normal. Amnitoic fluid doesnt 'leak' it may ebb and flow, but it doesnt stop and then start again hours later, or the next day.
I went throght the same thing recently.
Your vaginal mucus and discharge becomes heavier as your pregnancy progresses. It also becomes thinner and just like water in some cases.
I had it so bad it trickled down my leg, I went to the hospital thinking my water was leaking. Just discharge!
Its perfectly normal.

No, it's nothing to worry about. Hormones can change the way women "react" to sex. Some women get very dry and it even gets painful, and some women go the opposite way. I got extremely wet! I had done some research and then asked my doctor. She told me the same answer I had found and told me to enjoy it, it was better than the dryness (she has two little girls, so I think she was talking from experience). I wouldn't have any concern about the amniotic fluid, because it happens during sex (when it's normal). Good Luck!!

Talk to your doctor. They can inject dye into the amniotic fluid to make sure that you aren't leaking any amniotic fluid. It is probably just your hormones that caused more fluid than usual, but when your pregnant and you have any questions it is always best to ask your doctor. Better safe than sorry.

I know like some girls are too girly and boring but guys are actually pretty cool and fun lol and its fun to be a tomboy (i grew up with 4 big brothers and my dad and cousin brothers). To be honest i dont think she really matters as long as both people in the relationship are happy together than thats all that really matters. Im 13 and my bf is 16 going to be 17 september23 and hes so sweet. Im glad your going to wait to have sex, im waiting too. It might be a little awkward dating a guy thats like 3 years older but it could be worse, the she difference between my parents is 8 years, a guy my dad knows is married to a lady that 12 years younger than him. Maybe if you just start talking to your mom about it than im sure she'll understand and will maybe even appreciate it that you did tell her instead of keeping it a secrat. Hope i helped

first of congratulations.well it isn't gross at all it is rather natural.well i asked my doctor once and he said that it is not abnormal and that you can have sex up until the day before you have the baby. it isn't crazy that you are concerned about the baby it is a guess a motherly instinct.

its not fluid....the discharge is keeping any harmful infections from traveling up your cervix to the baby. Its normal and happens to everyone. Towards the end of your pregnancy it will prob. be so bad you may need a pantie liner.
good luck and congrats

Mention it to your Dr...but your body is very hormonal. You were stimulated therefore it creates more lubrication.
