I heard Jamie Lee Curtis is androgenous (has both male & female reproductive parts). Is this true?

We discussed this in my Biology class in college. It is true that she was born a hermaphordite, but had the male parts removed. She is a great actress and has not made any "idiotic" decisions to make the tabloids focus on her so it is not thrown out there as a bad thing. It was a problem with her chromosones and nothing to be made a joke of. The tabloids understand that she did not choose to be born that way, it just happened. Just as a person born with Down's Syndrome did not ask for it, and people understand and respect it.

[When they describe someone as] Androgenous [in Magizines & Fashion it] means basically WHAT YOU WEAR is neutral in Gender.

Hermaphadite means YOU PHYSICALLY ARE both Male & Female (or were).

If you wear plain white T-Shirts with regular Jeans your clothes are Androgenous.

A Baby can appear Androgenous,.. as without removeing their diaper you can not determine their gender by physical appearence (and hair cut).

It can mean Clotheing or it can mean it's difficult to tell the gender of someone/something. It has nothing to do with reproductive organs. The word the creator of this question used the definition for is Hermaphadite,.. not Androgenous. Added2: Here,.. I'm sure this will show a disregard for defineing and over exagerateing one's own gender. I have never seen this Music Video before though,.. so I am going to watch it now.

"Androgyny" or "Androgynous" is the term to describe someone who could easily be mistaken for male or female, like some of those stick insect models with no hair. However, it has long rumoured that Jamie Lee Curtis is a *hermaphrodite*, which is a person who has both male and female genitalia.

There has never been any proof that JLC is a hermaphrodite.

Do note, in most cases, only one set of genitalia is functioning, and the other set is vestigial, sort of like people who are born with little tails at the end of their spines. These vestigial, non-functioning organs are usually removed at birth, allowing the child to grow up with the functioning organs; functional meaning that is their actual sex.

Jamie Lee Curtis was born a hemaphrodite with both parts. She had her male parts removed. She is open about this.

I've heard she is a 1) metafemale (more than 2 X chromosomes)
and 2) has testicular feminization, where you are genetically male but you develop female secondary sex characteristics (breasts, hips) but no ovaries/ uterus

I have heard similar things about her, somewhat reinforced by her decision to adopt her kids, but I don't think it's true. Just a cruel rumor.
