I really have both platforms, convinced i understand i'm fortunate, in case you only desire a gaming gadget then the 360 is the in common words thanks to bypass, yet as an common device the PS3 is extra perfect. on-line gaming expenditures me £40 a 12 months for the 360 and compared to the PS3s on-line gadget it truly is nicely worth each and every penny of the £40, The pix don't have any discernable vast difference, I really have had an identical sport operating on both platforms at the same time and switched between them and that i will not tell the adaptation. The PS3 has a accessible little cyber web browser yet no longer as person pleasant as a computing device and the bluray participant is okay. My PS3 is oftentimes used for DVD playback because it upscales as well yet gaming is style of solely on my 360 yet in case you want it for video clips in HD then i'd say put up with the PS3s obstacles and bypass with that, yet then you'll by no skill get to play Gears it really is nicely worth possessing a 360 for on my own, after quite some paintings gaining knowledge of a thanks to play it on-line it extremely is

I've really enjoyed each of those in your list (well, except for the PS3 which I don't have yet), but I really think the Xbox 360 is the first one to really nail it right on the head.
It's the perfect mixture of hardware and software, and the way online is incorporated into Xbox Live is nothing short of excellent. You can play through a single player game, then jump online and take on your friends and total strangers halfway around the globe. You can download new items for your games, or you can watch video game trailers for upcoming hits.
It's powerful, it's flashy, and it's fun.

Computer, IMO. .
Computers have the best graphics chips available, and because of the new PhysX chips it will get even better. Consoles on the other hand due, to the mass producing, have to adhere to restricted specifications. Computers tend to be a heck of alot more unstable. each system has it's trade offs, but computers have the biggest advantages. They can do it all, music, movies, downloading, and games. If your looking for the best gaming machine ever... two words... ALIEN WARE

My favorite gaming system was the SNES. Who could forget all the great games that system had. But i think the most revolutionary system was the Playstation. That was the beginging of 3D games.

Even though it's not a GAME SYSTEM, you can play games on it. :P The PC is the only platform I know you can do SO much more than play video games...
