One big gift or a bunch of smaller ones?

My boyfriend and I both have birthdays this weekend, his today mine tomorrow, and we set a budget for eachother. I'm just wondering whether it is better to get one present worth the entire amount, or a bunch of little ones equalling the budget amount.

I think I'd pick the bunch. :-)

whenever I have a choice to pick a gift such as at a white elephant Christmas exchange I go for the smaller gits as they seem so much more intriguing.

Different people feel different ways about it.

I dont need a gift for my birthday, or for Christmas for that matter.

I enjoy being with the people I love. That is my blessing.
Gifts grow old and fade away...loving memories never do.

If you spent lot of time together then buy single gift you both could enjoy. If not then buy separate gifts
