I guess you won't know... you just need to feel ready to move on. For some people it takes a few weeks or even a few days. My best advice to you is to take your time in ANY relationship... date lots of people so you know what type of man you do want to be with, that way you'll never settle.

You should alway wait until you are ready, and also make a list of all the things you are looking for in a new that way you wouldn't make the same mistake twice.Because as people are growing uo, they need to settle down, they can't just jump from one relationship to the next.

I think it's a matter of truly being "over" the ex. That's the only time the next man will have a fair chance. And it's all about where you are in your life, who you want to be, and what it takes for you to get there. Recently one of my friends broke it off with a guy she'd been dating for over a year. She notices now that she was living her life for him, doing the things that he wanted to do, and being the person he wanted her to be. It's all about who you are and how confident you are about being without... that's when the real men come along. The ones that aren't just trying to get an easy lay.

Your life shouldn't be an uninterrupted series of men. You are more than someone's girlfriend. Find out more about the rest of you. You may find yourself more interesting than the next guy.

you will just know. if you have doubts about whether you are on the rebound and if your feelings are genuine than you are not ready
take your time and when you are ready you will not have to ask yourself these questions.
hope this helps, don't rush.
