What about nice slacks and a sport jacket with a collar shirt under... or you could do the slacks with a cami and cardiagn over the cami that always looks wholesome, also remember about colors light pastles are better.

Go for a business look and try to avoid heels and a pencil skirt. A well fitting, but not too tight skirt suit (with jacket) with a white buttoned shirt will look crisp and professional. For dress shoes, anything with a 2 inch or less heel will be apropriate. And keep your makeup simple. These two especially if you're the defendant. Even if you're the plantiff or there representing someone you still want to be modest and professional looking.

I watch Court TV sometimes and have to laugh at some of the outfits people wear. One woman came in with a red dress and long scarf-shawl. She was some kind of performer, but still...it was a little over the top.

Always dress conservative. A good business suit, whether coat over skirt or coat over slacks is good with a high collar blouse that does not show the bra underneath. The skirt should be knee length, no mini-skirts. Use nylon stockings and dress shoes with a low heel. Never come across as a flirt or ditzy blond or school girl or some other less than professional appearance.

You want to go for a business to business casual look. Knee length skirt or pants, blouse, flats to no higher than a mid height heel for shoes, simple hair, makeup, and jewelry. A jacket is optional. Avoid any too casual, like jeans, too sexy, like very high heels, or too trendy, like a mini over leggings, that might seem disrespectful to the judge.

a blouse, and blazer+knee length skirt/trouser of the same colour combo. wear flesh coloured tights with the skirt and sensible shoes. wear a light fragrance and light makeup and try cover up any tattoos/piercings. this will give a good impression as sadly body modification and expressions of individual personality are frowned upon in court/business/interviews. hope that helps, good luck:)

Whether you wear slacks or a skirt/dress, wear a blazer or jacket. It looks more businesslike and thus more respectful.

Also, low heeled shoes and no hoochie jewelry, talon like nails or drag queen makeup.
