Now, I honestly understand why you're feeling this way. But you're question is should you be submissive, even if.....
According to Ephesians 5;22, yes. You must submit to your husband. The only way you wouldn't have to submit is if your husband is asking you to do something against the express will of GOD or something illegal. See, so many women get married, and don't even know there role as a wife, I read many of these answers and all I can do is pray for these women.
Now, it does sound as if your guy is taking advantage of his position. That's why you must be aware of who your marrying. Because the person you see before your married, is the person you get after marriage. Therefore, if you can't see yourself submitting to that person ways before marriage, you shouldn't marry that person. Because submission plays a big part in a relationship.
So many times, people act as if the word submission is a curse word, GOD says we must submit so who are we to argue that. Now, if your husband is a GOD pleaser, you won't have a problem submitting to him, because he's not going to use that "you must submit to me" line against you. He'll be man enough to know his role as well. Continue to pray for your husband, and you'll see change. But, yes, please submit to your husband, it's the will of GOD. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

I'm sorry, submission is not being a floor mat! The man can get his own juice...he has two legs...same as you. If you are in the kitchen and you ask "would you like something" then it is different. A wife can and will submit to a man when she is treated with love and respect.

you're going to get a lot of different answers here - and it's up to you to pick the one your heart sees as the best thing for your marriage. I'm a feisty redhead - so submission is a hard, HARD thing for me. If you're talking Biblically, yes we are to be submissive that is our duty - HOWEVER..(and that's a big however) only when it's in a way that is pleasing to God. Men can't just tell us to do something and we do it, that wasn't God's design. he can't just say 'get me a juice' and you have to do it. Just calmy tell him you love him but he can get his own juice :)

NO! Be assertive. This guy does not deserve a friggin' servant/slave and you don't deserve to be treated like one. He needs to grow up and get the hail away from that blasted toy and act like a real adult. If he does not improve, you owe it to yourself to show him the door and tell him not to let it hit him on his baby behind on the way out!

The only reason someone has control over you is because you give it to them. Make him get his lazy butt up himself if he wants something. Make him respect you. That's really messed up that there are still marriages out there where the men treat the women like slaves.

well, if you want to be treated like trash then you are on the right path, but if you love yourself then you should put your foot down and have a chat with him, if he really loves you he will underestand how you feel... you should maybe suggest a role change and that way he will know how it feels ;)

No. He can pause his game to grab a drink for himself. Unless you're already in the kitchen and you're going to be walking past him, tell him to get his own. Your his wife, not his servant.
