I was in NYC a few months ago and took the PATH train over to Hoboken in New Jersey. I was advised that I could see the NY skyline at night from a new angle and take amazing pictures. Absolutely true! There's a beautifully-paved walkway along the edge of the Hudson River and the view (day or night) is breathtaking. There are bistros, restaurants and bars overlooking the skyline and a few streets back, near the train station are a few pub/bars. Don't go to NYC and not see this!

you will likely be close to either New York or Philadelphia, since NJ is a bedroom community to both urban areas. tons to do in New York, less to do in Philly. apartments are pricier the closer you get to New York. NJ is an unattractive state, but the best area is Princeton - scenic, pleasant, great university. Atlantic City is a popular summer destination with a nice beach, but be ready for the onslaught of cougs and goombas.

If you stay around the NYC area your fine. Like Woodbridge and Middlesex County, theres so many things to do, plus you hop on a train, and your in Manhttan in less than 40 minutes. Or if driving suits you, Staten Island is over there too. Plus the shore is about a half-hours drive (Pt. Pleasant).

My plane was held over at Newark and I had to spend a day in New Jersey. Oh God! Nothing stays open after 10.00pm so if you are looking for a meal or a drink at night, even in your hotel, then forget it.

If you want a job in Jersey you should move to Woodstown in the Southern part and they have some good jobs there.

New Jersey has many areas. It really depends on where. If you are nearer to New York or Philly things will be open more and you will have access to alot more stuff.
But there are also more rural areas, too.

Atlantic city is the best place in New Jersey.
It's a big beach resort and it has gambling & lots of historical landmarks.

it is not any diverse in that component if there is any rubbish or violence there reason stuff like that occurs in all states & all different places around the globe. it is to not say that places are undesirable or grimy frequently reason there is stable that occurs yet you hear approximately undesirable issues happening normally happening on the information or perhaps though in diverse places in this usa & others.
