i'm going on a trip tp phoenix, az and will be staying in surprise, az is there anything to do besides the grand canyon ?

Depends on what you enjoy. Some of the better places in the North would be Sedona (do a jeep tour), Grand Canyon Caverns, Grand Canyon Deer Farm outside Williams, Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield, Out of Africa north of Phoenix. If you are going soon, lots going on locally for the holidays, some good light shows & festivals in that area. I would recommend searching Answers for past responses to this same question, have seen some great lists.

there's not a whole lot in Suprise but if you come out to the east valley there's lots more to do. I've lived here my whole life and I think the reason that suburb got it's name is you have to drive so far out west once you get there you see a small burb and it's like suprise!
