the only time I find to myself is when I take a shower. sad but true with kids and a full time job it is impossible. But I have to say one time my husband left me alone and took the kids and I went crazy alone...

During the day, are they not at school? Or, are they too young? You could always have a sitter come just once or maybe twice a week. My mom used to do that. I always looked forward to it, actually. She would go shopping or whatever--I'm not really sure what she did. lol. But it's an option for you.
If you can't afford it, see if any churches in your area do "mom's day out" or something like that. They will keep the kids for an afternoon, or maybe a whole day, either for free or for very cheap.
A final option is to get together with another local mom and swap days. One day a week, you can keep her kids while she goes out, and she does the same for you. This works very well sometimes.

Well I can only imagine how you feel since I only have a one year old I go insane I don't even want to think about four of them. I would say see if you can put them into a preschool or a day care for a few hours a day. I know that some states have low cost daycare programs and you may be able to put them for free. I mean even if its only a few hours a day it's better then nothing Good Luck

Unless you put them in day care, you don't. And you won't be able to until they are first in school (then you just don't have to take them to the store when you go) and then finally out of your house and on their own.,,,unless you have the resources to put them in boarding schools..... When they all are in school, the best you can hope for is 10-2 in the late morning and afternoon -- assuming the school doesn't call saying one is ill, and you have to pick him up. Parents pretty much give up 20 years of their lives raising children. You undoubtedly will be no different.

Let your husband watch the kids one evening a week or every other week and go out with friends. One night you could go to a spa and get a full spa package, one night you could go out for a couple of drinks or dinner and a movie, and one night go to a comedy club or to the Seminole Hard Rock (I love that place!).
There's a lot to do, but you need your husbands cooperation. I assume he would be willing to do it, I know I do it for my wife every so often and she does it for me every so often.

How old are they? Do you have a friend that could watch them for a couple of hours? Treat yourself to a manicure or something!
