+ It is very dangerous with the currents. They loose a couple of people every year. Are you sure you know what you are doing?

I have to confess I am spanish native speaker, so I hope I am understandig what you are asking. But basically in Costa Rica we have incredible beaches to practice surf, it depends where you want to go. Some of the most populars: in North Pacific or Guanacaste, it is Tamarindo. And in The North Pacific Peninsula is Santa Teresa. In Mid pacific Manuel Antonio and Matapalo and in the south you will find Pavones, which is world known. You have to be carefull as in any place, I guess that the safer one will be Tamarindo, which is in a little bay. Enjoy it!!!
