bedtime story when you were a child?

Sadly I was never read to at bedtime. It just wasn't something they did.
But I read to my kids. I love the classics. Pokey Little Puppy and The Velveteen Rabbit. Geez, I cant spell that right.

Knights of the Lord Ken. A story of predictable consequence.
This small comic that was given at my first haircut, probably
about 4 years old. For three years following I would make up
adventures for knights in Vietnam were certainly saving me,
I could almost see it. The nannys would read from the round
tables and kept Ken my knight for special bed stories.

My dad would make up stories about the adventures of Sabrina the Rabbit, Buster the Squirrel and Chex the Chipmunk:-)

'Monster at the end of the book'--with Grover from Seseme St. I had a friend who gave me a copy of it when I turned 21 and I still have that copy. I read it to my son now. But you must do the voices just right.

I live in jamaica and thats not a norm for us maybe the rich little preppy kids but not most of the jamaican society.
