Alot of older gaming consoles have some of the greatest games ever made. Most of them are known for their gameplay, rather than the stunning graphics we see in newer games today. I would say that it isn't very strange for your brothers to want the older games. They are classics, and they probably want to re-live those memories again.

The Nintendo Wii has the Virtual Console. It allows you to download Nintendo games from the first NES, Super Nintendo, and N64. You could buy the Wii just for the Virtual Console games if you want. Itd be all wireless and no clutter of old games around. That way you could have the top games from each previous Nintendo system instead of just from Super Nintendo. And besides, later on you always have the option of pickin up a new Wii game with it too. Have fun playin all the classics

This is not strange at all. IMO the best games came out during the Sega Genesis vs SNES days. it was stritcky about fun games then. Both systems had their fair share of fun games. So what I suggest you do is to buy a Nintendo Wii. Why? Well it has a feature that is called "Virtual Console". This is an online Nintendo Wii channel that allows you to download classic NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and N64 games. It's a cool feature. Games range from m 5 - 10 dollars on the Virtual Console.
Here is an imformative Wiki on the subject:

Not strange at all, consider the cost of getting the new system and then buying all the games etc. I'll stick with the older stuff I have, In about 3 - 4 years the newest will be replaced and you can pick up that system for a song and dance with a few dozen games.

It's common for people to reminesce about the "Good old Days" of their youth, and the joys certain items brought them during childhood. I grew up playing these older consoles myself, and still use them once in a while when I want to take a break from the fast paced, flashy games of today.
The new game consoles are a lot of fun, but there's nothing like spending some quality time with the games that started it all.

ideally, the device could help us to make progression in existence and finally help us to realize perfection... yet certainly, what if the device grew to grow to be corrupted and perverted and did not signify any further the device in its suitable difficulty? faith has lost its legs and it fell down, including morality, the two on which the device could be based. i won't clarify all this, for that is too huge yet for particular the device in its purest style will immediately lead us to the purpose of existence. those days that is almost impossible to hit upon everywhere a pattern of the device in its maximum perfected state. yet what you will possibly be able to desire to Google on is on 'varnasrama-dharma'. that's the device practiced in historic India. Now additionally, despite maintains to be from this technique (caste-device) is an insignificant perverted mirrored image of what it ever was. additionally in the memories of the Mahabharata and the Ramayana one might come to an awareness of ways a social device could be stepped forward. that is incredibly worth of coming up a careful learn of all this. to help you slightly out, do not grow to be at a loss for words with the pantheon of Gods. the suitable end is that there is in simple terms one God frequently the others.
