i see so many questions on here about this and to me the logical explanation you would do first is to see a doctor,i certainly wouldnt talk about my periods and sex life to a bunch of strangers

You're pregnant honey, congratulations! It doesn't matter how the faint the second line is, as long as there is one. There are almost no false positives, so you can count on the fact that it's really positive.
Don't worry about the light bleeding, many women bleed a little for the first two months or so, usually around the time they would have gotten their periods.
On another note, you're 5 weeks prego, so it's time to call the doctor and get some prenatal care.

You are definitely pregnant - faint lines still mean pregnancy! I had a faint line and I'm now 20 weeks! Cramps are common - your ligaments are stretching. I had lots of cramps in early pregnancy. If they get worse or really hurt, see a doctor.
Some bleeding is also fairly common. Heavy bleeding with clots indicates a miscarriage, but light bleeding, especially around the time your period was due isn't necessarily a cause for worry.

When i did my test the second line was faint i also had a little bleeding and slight stomach pains i was really worried so i did see my doctor the test was right and i am now 25 weeks pregnant. Dont worry love just see your doctor i am sure you will be fine but the doctor will retest you for pregnancy and feel your tummy its nothing to worry about honest just put your mind at ease see your doctor. The very best of luck to you and i hope all goes well

If you're pregnant the period like cramps are normal, completely normal.
So is the spotting.
Full on bleeding like youre having a period and severe cramps that you cannot function with, are not okay.
Wait a week and test again. It sounds like you're pregnant, but the faintness of the lines could indicate a chemcial pregnancy. You'll know if this is the case by waiting a week for your hormone levels to double up, and test again. You should get a stronger line. :)

If there is a faint pink line 2 times you are more than likely pregnant. Try using the first morning urine it will be the strongest. You can have some implantation spotting. I would recommend going to see a doctor they can do a blood test which is most accurate and make sure nothing is wrong if indeed you are pregnant, prenatal care is VERY important! Good luck!

your pregnant. the second test was more faint because you took it so soon after the first one. The bleeding since it was not heavy is ok but be sure to tell the doctor about it. as for the cramping as long as it does not increase or get really bad then you should be fine. call and make an appt at the doctors office as soon as possible. and start taking the prenatals now. good luck and congrats mommy.

sounds like you are pregnant to me, even a faint second line means you are. Go get a digital test that says Pregnant or Not Pregnant and go to your doc for a Blood Test. Cramps are normal.

Go to the doctor, they can tests there as well or call the NHS helpline. Sounds like you could be, maybe...
when I was pregnant the lines where really clear. Doesn't it say on the package that if there is a faint line you are?

Yes there is a good chance that you are preg and I would call and get a Dr appointment. When I got preg I had cramps for the first 6 weeks, slight bleeding and everthing...including the sore boobs.

It is possible that you had an early miscarriage. The light/darkness of the lines doesn't matter. If there are two that means positive. You should wait a week and test again.
