ok so i needed to get into someones hotmail account and i tried to guess the secret answer and i guessed right. yeah so i got all of that sorted out but now i'm wondering if they will be able to find out that it was me. and cause i live in a different country to them can they found out what country the person was from who got into their email. and if they can find that out they will know that it was me. also the person knows a few guys who know like everything about computers!!!
please help me... i'm in a panic!

DLB you tard people who have a hotmail cant check ips to see who logged into it, hotmail owns it.
NO they have no way of KNOWING You accessed their email...
Hotmail is the only one who knows what IP ADDRESSES accessed the email, and they could care less who and where cause its free...
They could only know if you accessed their email by the following...
#1 If you deleted any emails.
#2 Read any emails which were previously marked as unread.
#3 If you answered the secret question, I assume it either A: Mailed the correct password to you or B: Allowed you to set a new password.
#4 If you did answer the secret question and set a new password, you will be fuxed because when they go to login to their email, they will find they no longer have the password...
#5 Even if the ABOVE IS TRUE, they have NO WAY OF KNOWING IT WAS YOU... They will only know that someone tampered with it... but no idea who.

No don't worry I have done this before too lol but by acident they will never find out even if you deleted messages because sometimes messages dont go through so they will just think it never came hope i helped!

yes, they can track your IP address, then they may try to go after you, in the mean time don,t go into their account, because if they are smart enough, they will catch you, then you will be in a lot of trouble, never do this.

no, they will never find out. but do you the thing called privacy? if that person was willing to share his or her account with you, they would have given you the password with no problem. otherwise, they probably don't want you to check their email. please respect other people's privacy.

I am guessing you were reading their emails?
Be sure to mark each message that you read as UNREAD and they probably will not even know that you were there?

Probably not, unless they are super anal about their account. As long as you didn't delete messages, or leave a trail that you were there, they probably won't even notice.
