if you are secure with yourself what your friends "look like" does not matter and if your insecure and crave attention yes you may try to "chose'' friends who you think will make you look better but it just shows how much you need to work on yourself

No. I'm the uglier, heavier friend.

My friends all look the same to me. Regardless of height, weight or race. And to me, they are ALL beautiful/handsome.

I am sure some low lifes do. I had a friend of mine in college tell me she couldn't be friends with me any more because I was too pretty and therefore provided too much competition (in her mind. The real problem was that she was so desperate for a guy she only attracted low lifes.) So, I'm sure she went on to surround herself with people she considered less attractive.

Well isn't it easier to get the guys if your the flower in the bunch of weeds. No only kidding there are people who are heavy or skinny or whatever but the mainthing is whats on the insides not what the case looks like.

first i'd like to say friends are friends and it shouldn't matter the shape or size, also depending on the person they might be keeping them around to make themselves feel and look better.

I'm sure people do it, I mean people like making themselves feel good and this is a way to do so. However, it's not a nice things to do and I feel sorry for people who do things like this.
