Without knowing the particulars it's hard to advise.
As you have read-Honesty is very important in any relationship and it goes hand in hand with understanding and communication.
This may sound a bit strange but if you two went and rented a cabin for a weekend and you got snowed in-it might turn into the best thing that ever happen for you both.
You would have no recourse but to talk and then learn how the other feels and then understanding would come as long as each of you were honest with the other.
If you try my suggestion-I'll pray for LOTS of snow.

I think that if the two of sit down and have an in depth convo about what both you want and need from each other and move on from there. Maybe take a romantic get away for the weekend so that you can concentrate on just the two of you that might help. Find things that two of you can do together...maybe things that you have already done or try new things. Good Luck!

A relationship can't work without communication. You have to know what the other person is thinking and how they feel. You also have to balance each other's 'together' time with each other's 'personal' time. We all need time to do what we personally enjoy, like hobbies, or doing things with friends. If a person is allowed to do the things they enjoy, they are more apt to be a better boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband.

It depends on what you mean by move forward. Go your separate ways or, get into a more serious commitment with each other.
Either way communication is the best thing you can do. Talk with him, and find out what would make you both happier!

Get with him and talk to him about how you feel and let him do the same. Try not to interrupt each other. If you feel that you may want to interrupt him, have a note pad and write a word that will remind you of what to say. You may also want to have a stress ball and squeeze it if you feel yourself getting mad.

one or both of you are insecure and/or unsure, scared of taking it further....
make it known and agreed that both of you WANT it to continue or NOT...then take some time apart and do some serious self evaluation
