If so, why? If a terrorist is going to attack and kill thousands more, what can you do about it? Would you even know it was coming? Besides, if it happens, it happens. It could happen to me. If I was killed in a terrorist attack, what could I do about it? No sense in going through life afraid of what may happen. Just accept it as a remote possibility and get on with your life.

I know I'll get harrassed some more for this, but I'm Canadian and maybe that's why I don't worry about it as much as Americans do.

You are right in that we should not let the threat of terrorist attacks make us stop living our lives as we choose. However, that doesn't mean that we should make believe the threat isn't there, nor should we support policies that would make it EASIER for potential terrorists to carry out their plans.

Bare in mind, that a successful terrorist attack does not have to happen to you directly to affect you. A significant terrorist attack in the US will have far reaching implications on the economies of not just the US but certainly Canada and much of the civilized world.

This question, and the way it's asked is why terrorisum concerns me in this country, and how some Americans look at it Here is a guy who is willing to roll over, be ignorent, and say oh well, when it happens it happens. That concerns me. My only hope is, when we do get hit again, and now that the Democrates are back in charge, I believe will happen, that it is people like this that exsperiance terrorisum first hand, maybe then his attatude will change.

Your attitude is the reason the rest of us have so much to be concerned about. Are you willing to just stand around with your thumbs hooked in your jeans and let the terrorists win? Kill us? Do you not have a backbone? Can you not stand up and be counted as a loyal citizen willing to do all possible to protect your fellow citizens? No wonder our country is in such deep doo-doo with people like you around. Wake up!!

yes, and since the fact that terrorist takes away thousands that's why people are scared of terrorist, because they're usually tied to some damage to their surroundings... and lets say if a person holding you hostage within a gunpoint... well I dont know about you, I'd be scared.... life is important, if you think that we should all just waste our lives by not fearing those that could hurt us.. well we'd all be dead

We'll pass your sentiments along to the families of the 3,000 people who died on September 11, 2001. Off the subject here, but did you ever get the feeling that some dumb**** people go down every page and give everyone a thumbs down just to be jerks?

The main question is all that is: What can you do about it.

The answer is, make sure that retaliation is swift and sure. No roses and a chorus of Kumbaya thanks.
