It is sorta weird because people work up to the 25th and think of Christmas as being over but it actually begins at midnight on the 25th and ends 12 days later (thus the 12 days of Christmas) on the day of Jesus Baptism (or at least the day we chose to celebrate it in Christianity -maybe not actually historically accurate).

Christmas is the 25th. Yule is whichever date is the Winter Solstice, which this year is the 22nd.
The 12 days of Christmas traditionally ended on Jan 6 which was believed to be when the wise men visited, but Biblical scholars believe is not true.

Christmas begins on the 25th at midnight and actually goes the next twelve days until the "traditional" baptism of Christ on the 12th day. Not sure when society just starting celebrating the 25th and not the other days.
Here is a helpful link.

Christmas is the 25th. So if you wanted to do a traditional "12 days of Christmas," you would need to start on the 14th of December (which is next Thursday).

No one really knows but it is celebrated in many places on 25 DEC.
Reason no one knows. All of the indicators in the Bible indicate it could not have been in mid winter. 1. The census would not ordered have been ordered in winter because the king wanted the most people to be counted. Many would/could not travel by foot in winter. 2. Mary had to deliver Jesus in a cave due to no vacancies in Inns. Can you imagine that in the winter?
3. You will not find the word "Christmass in the Bible.
Most likely he would have been born in late summer or early fall or sooner. But/so whatever is comfortable for you will work.

it is not really on the 25th. many many years ago someone designated the 25th as christmas, since no one really knows what day jesus was born they just go with the 25th but it was around the end of the year hence the fact that the christmas related holidays are in december
