Magick practitioners of the professional persuasion would tell you that you have to meditate daily for a said amount of time in order to hone the senses and sensitivity to power manipulation. In order for you to become a magickal practitioner, you must find a path that is best for you when it comes time. Paganism is the main magickal religion. From there, you have Wiccanism, Druidism, Celticism (and more). Find out which works best for you. Don't assume that it's easy as pie, because it's not just a religion, it's a lifestyle.

Don't let anyone fool you into believing that Christian Witches are real. It's never happened before, and never will happen.

IcePrincess, satan doesn't exist. You are simply acknowledging that which has been instilled into your mind. I'm not evil, and I'm pagan.

Magical powers is where you go wrong. You are looking at it the wrong way. What you want is to develop abilities that we already have in our nature. Normally, I don't mince words. However, your use of the word "magical" indicates a gap in perception that you need to cross. There is no such thing as magic; things seem magic because we can't explain their nature. Internalize this concept and you can begin.

First off, don't believe anything the church tells you about wicca. Wicca's believe in an entirely different set of gods than the christians. If wicca is right, then the devil does not exist rendering impossible for the wiccans to be getting there power from him. If the christians are right, then the wiccans wouldn't be getting any power at all.

The church just wan't people to convert to christianity and be "saved". Don't listen to a word they say, the church, after all, is corrupt and the bible was written by corrupt men.

Thats because you are on a quest to know Jesus. Those who are going to obtain Salvation, cannot use magic very well. Satan knows this. Wiccans refuse to acknowledge that they are really using satans power. they claim it is from nature. My power as a wiccan was never that strong, whether I was a bad witch or a good witch, four years later, I got saved and it all made sence. Satan knew which direction I was heading in, so why would he allow me to use the power???

If I were you I would ask myself "what it is I felt I was lacking and why I felt the need to have something more?"

Be careful with this question. It is very importaint.

Once that is answered I would suggest researching meditative journeying for your "quest."
