Do you Tip your Hair Stylist or Barber?

Question

I always do but sometimes I regret it. Sometimes I don't think they deserve it but it is expected. Usually 20%, sometimes 50%, which only amounts to $2-$5.

I had a hairstylist not listen to a word I said and went ahead and did what she wanted to my hair. I didn't even pay her. She butchered my hair.

yes, depends on what i am getting done. if the bill is $60 i usually give about $15. i agree with you though, sometimes after i leave im lookin at it thinkin what the hell where they doin!

when i go out or something, if the person serving me is good then i leave like 2-5 depending on what i got. but if their awful, i wont leave anything i dont care if its expected. u have to earn it!

we dont expect it but most of us have to pay for the products we use and sometimes pay rent for stations we use -there have been times my clients have not been able to tip and apoligize profusely and i say as long as you refer people to me thats whats going to make me more money!!!!!!!!!! i go out of my way to make my services exceptional!!!!!!! i am a skin care therapist
