The straight forward answer would be yes, however it really depends on the type of DVD writter that you buy, the writter that has copied the disc you wish to copy, the format it was done in, whether or not it is a + or - disc, often i have found disc's that are bought from the 'Thai guy's' tend to not copy as they have put blocks on them. I would point out though that there are now loads of decent websites that you can find to download films then burn it from your computer. I hope this was some sort of help. Oh always research what you are buying, its easy to think you are getting something amazing then it turns out half the features are a waste of time. Happy copying

Well, if the DVD doesn't have any encryption mechanism (some DVD's dont play on cd-rom's on pc's directly!) that prevents you from copying...you should be able to. BUT in the case u have asked i am sure you would be able to, because you have mentioned one that has already been copied. There should be nothing stopping you...rip in!!

Yes, the device that was used is not the issue. The burning software you choose will determine your success in reproducing the burned copy.

You should be able to make an "image" of the first disc and save it on your computer. You should then be able to burn this image onto a new disc. So yes, there is no reason that you shouldn't be able to do this.
