Why is it that liberals cannot seem to ask questions on yahoo?

without it being insulting or name calling ex is bush an idiot, are conservatives retarded, now don't get me wrong because there has been insulting questions from conservatives but the overwelhming percentage of insults seems to come from the left I have always believe that those that cannot debate ,INSULT and NAME CALL, maybe yahoo needs to make sure you are out of Jr high before joining.

I wanted to see if I was mistaken so I hit government and politics again and there is at least 4 new question that ask if basically if Bush is a retard yet some of you say that the name calling is the same on both sides

Actually it's pretty even. I find my self defending the other party. Reguardless of who the other party might be. Sad to say i don't think it's junior high schoolers doing it.
Your right about the debates. There was an question posed yesterday which someone had an answer that might have opened up my libral mind to the Iraq war and the reason we should stay the course. Something that was making sense. However my son needed the pc for homework by the time I was able to get back on to finish reading the answer. The question had disappeared because the insulting and name calling question were on the forefront.

I was always taught that it was rude to answer a question with a question, but the response to your query which immediately leaps to mind is: Why is this pertinant?

I tend to be a staunch Constitutionalist, were the Federalist party still existant I would gladly call them my party of choice, and as such my opinions tend to be more Conservative than not. However, the Right has no monopoly on morality, look at past figureheads like Limbaugh, Beck or O'Rielly. None seem capable of puncuating a single sentence without offering a personal insult, slur or slight. Granted you outlined Yahoo! Answers as the specific case, but verbal abuse runs rampant and unchecked on both sides and in every theatre.

Dude, apparently you only see the questions you want to see. I don't doubt that Liberals make insulting questions, and I can't tell you how many times I wanted to ask "why" to those who state they don't like Bush; I know why I don't agree with him, some just jump on the bandwagon and don't know the issues. But back on the subject, were you here a couple of months ago? There were nothing BUT trolls, many Right-wing. American Vengeance, ME_M, only so many more I can name.

I went back to look at the provocative questions (just the bold faced ones, I didn't click on all of them) from the last few hours and I noticed that the number from each side is about the same. the thing that struck me is the same people asking the same question over and over again, rephrasing slightly. As a liberal, I hate hearing how much I hate the US, back the enemy, run away, etc. especially since I am a veteran and am fairly sure my accusers are not.

This is why the country is in the place it is. Everyone only cares about their own agenda. All it is is finger pointing and accusations. Personally, I don't consider myself conservaton or liberal. I don't like Bush but I think the Dems don't have a clue either sometimes.

It is no wonder someone can come to OUR own land and kill thousands (9-11) We are all to busy fighting with each other.

I'm out of junior high and I have never heard any reply from any liberals on here. Usually it is the Radical Republican extremists.

I have had so many tell me they were frightened by the attitude of Republicans and that is why for the first time in their life they voted Democratic. I live in the south and I am a care taker.
So I work with older people who are really afraid of the attitude and the divide in politics. I live in the south which has traditionally been Republican. But they are rethinking that.
Because it is either you be Republican or die or your a traitor to God and Country. They don't think it should be that way.
Where did the moderate Republican go?

Yes, I have noticed that myself. And like you I've noticed the right does it also, but not as often as the left. But it's extremely childish and as such I have told both sides to sit in the corner and think about life for awhile.

I Said it before and I'll say it again. Liberals do not deal in facts, they deal in emotional response. Since they do not have facts to back up their arguments, they have to be loud and insulting to shout opposing views down. The conservative get's tired of hearing it and realizes they are dealing with insanity and they move on. The liberal thinks they won the argument because the conservative moved on when in fact, the conservative realized they were dealing with a crazy person and did not want to waste anymore time on them. This happens all the time. Libs seem to pull made up facts out of the thin air to suit their purpose and shame on you if you prove them wrong, they will get loud and call you all sorts of names and insult you.

They preach tolerance and inclusion as long as it doesn't differ from their beliefs. They also like to report answers on here that don't agree with theirs which shows just exactly how much they hate free speech.
