I've just started reading & today I give Puff & Godzilla tiny pieces of orange in their salad of romaine lettuce & kale.

Sweet citrus like oranges, tangerines or satsumas are fine for lizards but I would not give any to rodents. Avoid bitter fruits like lemons or limes as they are very acidic.
Stomach acid is more powerful tham fruit acid,
concentrated Hyrdchloric in the stomach,
dilute citric in the fruit.

Citrus is acidic! It can harm reptiles

Not a good idea ! it has to much acid and will damage the lining of the stomach.

becuase it is a fruit, so it breaks down into sugar in the body
