Well then it's not a prize is it, if you're paying for it!! Please IGNORE this company - it sounds like a scam and a rip-off!

This is a common scam. The advance fee fraud. They say you have won a sum of money or have an inheritance coming or a package is sitting on their doorstep for you or whatever. Basically it boils down to they have something that you want and would probably want pretty bad. However, before you can get it you must give them money to process forms, pay taxes, do shipping or whatever. What happens is that you end up paying and they disappear. I would not bother contacting these people. If you already have then sit back and think about what information you gave them already. Sometimes these scams have another scam going on where they collect information for identity theft.

Another heinous version of this is the lost pet scam. These people will watch for notices of lost pets in the newspapers or signs on utility poles. They will then contact the person and claim to be a trucker or some other travelling profession who found the pet but are on the other side of the country now. They want to give the pet back but they need money to ship it to you. Of course, they do not have the pet and any money sent to them is long gone.

Don't fall for these scams. Never send anyone money just because they say you won something. Reputable companies do not operate this way.
