My silver {cheap} jewlery has a fishey smell to it.The smell stay's on my hand,what is that? And my silver jewlery is turning a darkish color all my neaklace'es and braslets are hanging on a 10& fake wrogh iron candel thing that hang's on the wall,i want to get ride of the smell,and tarnish but i'm not sure how to do that i tried toothpaste it work'd but the next day the smell was back and like 2 days later the tarnish was back,any idea's,sorry about the spelling.

get jewlery cleaner or new jewlery, becasue it is cheap it does that. something with the oxygen. i used to have that problem too so, when i bought new stuff i made sure it was nice. there really is nothing you can do!!

Just polish them up with silver polish! You can buy it at Jewel (in the cleaning supplies aisle), it's not expensive, and it's really easy. The tarnish comes right off and stays off for a long time! As for the smell...that's really weird I don't know what to tell ya!

You need to polish with silver polish rather than toothpaste. It contains chemicals that better remove the tarnish and help keep it from coming back so quickly.

use toothpaste ...not a gel though but a paste. Use a toothbrush and a small dab of toothpaste. Scrub is up and rinse it off and it will take care of your problems

24-karat gold or silver, get a tube of toothpaste and a toothbrush n get brushing ... (that's the way we brush our enamel, brush our enamel - brush our enamel hmmm could we modify the be conscious enamel to gold??) :-D
