The 'er' in geezer is not a seperate morpheme meaning 'one who does the [verb]'. A geezer does not 'geeze'. It is only a noun, not a noun derived from a verb!

People sometimes refer to a man as an old geezer....meaning, an eccentric old man.
I used my memory and the dictionary.

To be old-like? Have a cane, a walker, an old-man attitude...like "Hey you whippersnappers get off of my lawn."
