I dont know about you all but I am getting tired of answering questions and sometimes spending a lot of time on it and the idiot not take the time to pick a best answer. If you are looking for information, have the decency to pick a best answer. What do you all think?

Also from my experience voting sucks!!! For example, I won the last three questions I answered by voting once - for my answer. If I didnt vote, no one would have.

Either way is rude.

Many questions are about opinions and believes and the asker wants to read many different views (that is the case with all questions I have asked so far and with most of the questions I answer), and then it is often hard to pick a single answer as best. I put my questions on a vote when I really can't decide which answer is the best, it has nothing to do with not having time for picking a best answer.

I primarily ask questions in the Religion and Spirituality section, and I must say that sometimes it is very difficult to choose a best answer when all of them are very heartfelt and emotional.

I confess that sometimes I eliminate a few and then pick one from the remainder at random because it seems the only fair thing to do.

People might not choose a best because they just can't decide, and figure they will leave it up to voting.

I think that you are frustrated, and need to take a break away from the computer? A lot of times people are busy trying to find the best answer that will relate directly to their question. Then there is a time period that you need to factor in for people to select a best answer. You may just be one of many with the same answer. So, just be thankful that you had a chance to give others your knowledge, stay blessed and smile.

I could be guilty of this. At times, I find there are no best answers. At times, I have even forgotten the question I asked. But I do choose the best answer when I find one that pleases me.

I agree with you in principle, but I have left some controversial or provocative questions unanswered hoping that an open question would bring more viewers to the table in the voting process...

I think you don't have a life if you really pressure about getting fricking points on this place. This whole place is screwed up with a bunch of us who are bored at work and don't give a care who could pick our answer as best answer. This is just a time passer. Not a career.

:::That's the Thing that Yahoo must work on: OBLIGATE the People who ask to choice a best answer.

Yahoo could penalize the people who not do this.

I completely agree. I think most of the time they are just too lazy or they don't know what they are doing.
